Happy Thanksgiving. I wanted to just take a second and wish you all a great stuff your face day.
As I reflect, I have so much to be thankful for. Especially my family and my friends. They are such a blessing in my life. As I spent this past year launching ElsBeth Lair, they have been right there at my side giving me the support that I have needed to keep going and to make my dream come true.
ElsBeth Lair is nothing short of being the spirit of Halloween bringing fun and excitement and happiness into my life and creepiness into my home.
Last night around 3:00am I woke up to some unsettling sounds coming from the adjoining room. I panicked because that is my studio and I knew it must mean I locked a cat in and it was probably peeing everywhere. I opened the door and took a peek inside, but there was no cat to be found. As I was closing the door, my xacto knife rolled off the table onto the floor. I picked it up and put it away where it actually belonged and as I closed the door I turned and said “Happy Thanksgiving”. I went back to bed and there wasn’t any more sounds for the rest of the night. It was probably my mom warning me once again, to put my things away before someone gets hurt. You laugh, but I wouldn’t doubt it in a second. With all my grandkids who love to take a peek in my studio to see what spookery I am working on, she was always warning me to keep things put away that might hurt them.
Anyway, have a great day, be safe, eat much and be thankful that there is Pepto Bismal in the medicine cabinet.
My wish for you is to stay Halloween True.
Happy Thanksgiving and as always, Happy Halloween!
