Okay, I am sure many of you have wondered if I died or not. Well, not even close. Halloween in my home is as strong as ever. Sometimes life just takes you in so many directions you don’t know which way is up anymore.
ElsBeth Lair is doing absolutely great. I can’t wait to get up in the mornings and start working. For the past couple of months that has been a frustrating prospect. Just so many needful things that needed to be accomplished with my home and family that it has been very challenging trying to get done what I wanted to accomplish.
The good news is that the bathroom has now been rebuilt. I got my new flock of chickens and just finished building a new, larger coop for them. I got about half of my garden in and now I’m full bore into getting ready for this Halloween season.
I just signed up for the Halloween in Summer Festival that will take place in July. I’ve always had a 10×10 booth space but this year I have needed to double that and make it a 10×20 booth space.
The sales have never slowed down since last August and so I can officially say that my Halloween season is now year round.
My horror dolls continue to be a best seller and I’m grateful to say that I now have several collectors from around the nation. That is really starting to help the worth of the dolls to go up as well.
I just started a new collection of corpse hands. The idea came to me when thinking about what could be added to a Freak Show setting. So I thought of doing a Freak Show Museum and am doing a collection of Famous Hands.
This is my first addition to the collection. It is Benjamin Franklin’s corpsed hand holding some kite string and key. I am hoping that my hand ideas will be cool, but I am looking for them to be amusing as well.
Be sure to check out my new items in my store right here.
I hope you continue to be scary.
Happy Halloween Everyone
