It has been a few crazy weeks here at ElsBeth Lair so that means that everything is running as normal. Of course normal for me is nothing like what normal people think normal is. In fact normal people kind of scare me, so I’ll just stick with being crazy and if you are reading this then I’m pretty sure that you have a bit of crazy in you also. So Welcome to ElsBeth Lair!
The list of things to get done before the summer shows start just keeps growing instead of getting completed. I have to stop coming up with new ideas and just get done what is already on the list.
I have been painting a lot lately which is totally fun for me. I forgot how much I really enjoyed painting. Now I just keep buying more canvases and decided to actually buy me some real brushes instead of stealing the ones out of my grandkids watercolor boxes.
The big one for me to get completed off my list right now is I just finished adding to my Soy Candle Line of Halloween candles. I keep getting asked where I get my candles from. All the candles I sell, I make myself. I have actually been making Soy Candles for over 14 years under the name of Mikati Soy Candles. I have just decided to do everything now under the ElsBeth Lair name and centering everything around Halloween. Why? because I love Halloween, and I can.I now have 10 wonderful scents to choose from and you really need to click here to read about them in my store. One that I just couldn’t resist is a novelty scent that I call Cannibal BBQ. It is repugnantly delicious. It smells just like a burnt campfire with a bit of cooked meat in there somewhere. I love it. It will be a great novelty scent, but it actually will work wonderfully for the Halloween scene setter. If you build a scene in your decorating that includes anything like a Cauldron or dungeon, it will be a perfect mood setter for the scene. It really is a good scent with a surprising sweetness to it along with the smoky fire smell. I hope you enjoy it.
It is going to continue to be crazy (I mean normal) around here for the next several weeks. I will be sure to keep you updated on everything that is going on.
I am trying to get more Tshirts, decor signs, jewelry, coffins, voodoo dolls, bottles, corpsed items done along with the spiders and eyeballs and wands and staffs and everything else that my mind just drew a blank on right now. It will be a busy year and hopefully a successful one.
Happy Halloween Everyone
